Job summary

bioMérieux in Collinsville, IL, seeks an assembler to perform assembly, refurbishment, subassembly and test of electromechanical components to meet quality standards and production schedules. Role includes mentoring others and supporting instrument manufacturing.

Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years manufacturing experience; experience with electromechanical assembly preferred. Day shift 6:00am-2:30pm, with 11 paid holidays and 160 hours PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with assembly of electromechanical parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up on all stations and benches; verify data forms (lot#, product name, date).
• Process production steps per procedures.
• Document information on DHR forms following Good Documentation Practices.
• Maintain separation of lots using barriers and tape.
• Clean and organize work area before, during, and after production runs.
• Train coworkers in correct processes and machine operation.
• Assist with end-of-shift shutdown and nonconforming product handling.
• Follow company quality procedures and standards; perform other duties as assigned.
