Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking an assembler to perform assembly, refurbishment, subassembly and test functions of electrical and mechanical components to meet quality standards and production schedule. Mentors others as needed and supports Instrument Manufacturing on a day shift 6:00am–2:30pm.

Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 2+ years manufacturing experience; electromechanical assembly experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with assembly of electromechanical parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up on all stations and benches as assigned.
• Process production steps per procedures to meet the schedule.
• Document information on DHR forms per Good Documentation Practices.
• Maintain separation of lots using barriers and signage.
• Keep work area clean and organized before, during and after runs.
• Train coworkers in processes and machine operation.
• Assist with end-of-shift shutdowns and equipment shut-downs as needed.
• Handle nonconforming product per NCMR instructions.
• Follow all company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
