Lyten, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist, Electrolyte to lead the development, optimization, and scale-up of advanced electrolyte chemistries for next-generation Li-S and Li-metal battery systems.

You will engineer stable SEI/CEI, optimize ion-transport, and translate bench formulations into scalable, high-performance cell designs. The role collaborates with R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to set robust specifications, generate IP, and ensure safety while pushing the boundaries of

Formación

• Doctorate degree on a battery topic.
• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry (electrical), materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering) AND 3+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry (electrical), materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering) AND 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop novel electrolyte formulations tailored for Lyten’s 3D Graphene sulfur cathodes and advanced lithium alloy anodes.
• Establish electrolyte composition – property – cell performance relationships using electrochemical and analytical techniques.
• Co-optimize cell components and design with R&D and Engineering teams.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Quality teams to establish robust specifications for electrolyte components.
• Generate high-quality intellectual property to contribute to Lyten’s differentiation.
