Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials seeks a Principal R&D Engineer/Scientist to lead electrochemical R&D for copper refining and high-purity copper technologies. You will drive lab, pilot, and production studies, mentor teams, and partner across R&D, Engineering, Operations, and customers to implement scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and lead research and development projects focused on electrochemical processes and copper refining.
• Design and conduct laboratory, pilot-scale, and production-scale experiments to develop and optimize electrochemical processes.
• Scale and transfer new technologies to manufacturing with cross-functional teams.
• Develop process designs, equipment specifications, and scale-up plans.
• Mentor engineers and scientists while delivering multiple projects.
