Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, invites applications for a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on assembling PCB assemblies into chassis, interpreting blueprints, and performing precision soldering and conformance to specs in a 1st shift union environment.

The candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years reading aerospace manufacturing plans, with ability to lift 20 lbs and work on-site. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• More than 3 years of experience reading blueprints, working with manufacturing plans, and reviewing instructions for aerospace manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating procedures.
• Use precision calibrated tools – torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers.
• Perform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair.
• Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components.
• Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating.
