Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks an Aerospace Vehicle Technician Senior for 2nd shift in El Segundo, CA. You will assist final spacecraft integration, install MLI/SLI, and perform tests to support launch operations.

You will work from released work instructions, interpret drawings, and use precision tools to achieve tight tolerances. This role requires 100% onsite work and active security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years of mechanical assembly experience on high-reliability products.
• Experience wiring racks and boxes with harnesses.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and harness diagrams.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and digital multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate components to precise tolerances using established instructions.
• Operate space vehicle assembly equipment and fixtures.
• Determine operation sequences and install components for testing and launch readiness.
• Handle and install MLI/SLI materials with care.
• Record test data and generate reports; assist engineering with process improvements.
