Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading manufacturer of exterior building products, is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support manufacturing operations in our Rocky Mount, VA facility. You will diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment, perform setup changes, and maintain pneumatic and electrical systems.

The role requires an associate degree and 3–7 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, plus strong safety discipline and the ability to train Level I/II

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field, or equivalent related experience.
• 3–7 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locations.
• Ability to assist in Training Level I and II Technicians.
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining).
• Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting.
• Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Advanced understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
