Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Fleet Ballistic Missile Avionics team seeks an Electronics Packaging Engineer to develop 3D concept models for space flight avionics hardware and advance them for flight use.

You will design antenna panels from a mechanical perspective, coordinate with thermal and structural analysts, prepare drawings for fabrication, and interface with Parts Engineering, QA and Purchasing to ensure producible designs that meet schedule and cost targets.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD modeling and drafting in CREO/SolidWorks.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary 3D concept models for space flight avionics hardware.
• Support antenna panel design from a mechanical perspective.
• Coordinate with thermal, dynamic, stress, reliability, EMC analyses.
• Prepare drawings and documentation for fabrication and assembly.
• Interface with Parts Engineering, QA, and Purchasing on material quality.
