Job summary

Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, WI builds luxury yachts and seeks skilled Pipefitters to join the Mechanical Department. You will install and test plumbing systems, from fresh water to HVAC piping, across the full construction phase.

Level 1–4 pipefitter roles offer advancement based on skill, reliability and safety. You must supply your own tools, read blueprints, and perform assembly work in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English.
• Ability to read decimal or fractional tape measure.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, squatting, kneeling and climbing.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new jobs and directions.
• Flexible for various shift schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with tool setup and safety.
• Develop proficiency in blueprint reading with a plumber.
• Perform basic layout work and pipefitting tasks.
• Support deck drains and piping installations (black, gray, fresh water).
• Assist with HVAC piping and testing of systems.
• Grade, fit, and install pipe brackets per BBC prints.
• Follow written and oral instructions and company policies.
