Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Senior Electrician/Maintenance Technician in Florence, KY. The role is responsible for operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across campus facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of local, state and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Journeyman Electrical License required.
• Experience reading blueprints, specifications, or models to plan work layouts.

Responsibilities

• Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed in the CMMS using a mobile device.
• Reads blueprints and diagrams, estimates materials and costs for installations, and procures supplies.
• Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems and related facilities.
• Installs EMT, rigid, plastic-bond and steatite conduit.
• Troubleshoots electrical systems and locates cables for various contractors.
• Performs preventive maintenance, tests and inspections; maintains logs.
