ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Senior Electrician/Maintenance Technician in Florence, KY. The role covers operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems to support customer needs with safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• Working knowledge of local, state and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Journeyman Electrical License.
• Experience working with blueprints, specifications, or models to learn or plan work layouts.
• Rudimentary ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Updates CMMS and documents tasks completed via mobile device.
• Reads blueprints and diagrams, estimates materials and costs and requests supplies.
• Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems and related facilities.
• Pends and installs EMT, rigid, plastic-bond and steatite conduit.
• Troubleshoots electrical systems and locates cables.
• Responds to emergency problems and performs repairs as needed.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds, tests and inspections.
• Makes recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems.
