Job summary

ESFM is hiring a Building Engineer - MEP in Florence, KY to perform skilled maintenance and lead field activities across electrical and mechanical systems. You will support training, manage escalations, and ensure high-quality service for our facility clients.

This role requires several years of maintenance experience, appropriate trade licenses, and the ability to read complex instructions. Full-time shifts (day, night, overnight) are available, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• Must have one of the following licenses or a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance.
• Construct, install, service, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and building systems and related equipment.
• Supervise and lead a work group on a project and manage escalations.
• Maintain logs, perform rounds, and complete work orders and inspections.
