Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Senior Electrician/Maintenance Technician in Florence, KY to operate, maintain, repair, and install electrical distribution components and related equipment. The role emphasizes safe, efficient work and responsiveness to customer needs with a focus on facility systems maintenance.

The position requires 5 years of institutional experience, NEC knowledge, and a valid Journeyman license. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as part

Qualifications

5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting or equivalent.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Journeyman Electrical License is required.
Experience reading blueprints, specifications, or models to plan work layouts.
Ability to perform strenuous labor including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Updates CMMS with work statuses and documents tasks completed.
Reads blueprints and estimates materials and costs for installations.
Constructs, installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems and related facilities.
Pends and installs conduit and related components.
Troubleshoots electrical systems and supports emergency repairs as needed.
Maintains logs, performs rounds and tests to ensure safety and compliance.
