Job summary

JLL is seeking a Critical Environment Lead Electrician to oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical infrastructure supporting mission-critical facilities in Santa Clara, CA. The role leads electricians, coordinates maintenance, and ensures uptime in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities include managing UPS systems, generators, switchgear, ATS/STS equipment, and power monitoring, while driving safety, compliance with NFPA 70E/NEC/OSHA, and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience maintaining commercial, industrial, or critical facility electrical systems.
• Experience with UPS systems, emergency generators, switchgear, ATS equipment, and power monitoring systems.
• Understanding of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safe work practices.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a critical operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure supporting 24/7 operations.
• Monitor and maintain medium- and low-voltage distribution systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of electrical equipment and distribution networks.
• Ensure reliability of UPS, generators, switchgear, ATS and distribution equipment.
• Lead electrical switching operations and support planned maintenance activities.
