Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Electrical Test Engineer in Florida to lead electrical integration, verification, qualification, and production testing of advanced DoD defense systems. You will design fixtures, develop automated test solutions, and coordinate with hardware, software, and government teams.

The role requires DoD work experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with LabVIEW/TestStand, MATLAB, and Python for test automation. Active secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience or 6–10 years with a Master's degree.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute electrical integration, verification, and qualification test plans.
• Design, build test fixtures, harnesses, and breakout boxes for testing.
• Coordinate fixture requirements with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, Python.
• Interface with systems engineering, hardware, software, and government customers.
