Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Collins Test Engineering Services team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining test solutions for Collins products and for external customers, including ICT flying probe systems, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, software/hardware development, and debugging of automated test stations, with onsite work and a clear path to improving test

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Prior experience in test or electrical design

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of a cross-functional team.
• Review product designs and analyze test requirements.
• Design test fixtures and interconnects.
• Develop automated test software and user interfaces.
• Verify test results are accurate, repeatable, and reliable.
• Understand and utilize Collins aerospace processes and tools to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present project/technical information to peers, management, and customers.
• Plan and manage tasks effectively.
