Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking an early career Electrical Design Engineer to support CNS aviation hardware development. You will influence architecture, performance, and reliability of systems in demanding environments and work with cross-functional teams.

The role is onsite in Melbourne. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree, <2 years’ experience, and familiarity with LTSpice/HyperLynx, lab test equipment, and schematic/layout tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with <2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person for this military contract.
• Experience with LT Spice or HyperLynx and lab test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and analyze electrical hardware requirements.
• Provide design support for CNS sustainment products.
• Manage component obsolescence identification and mitigation.
• Analyze circuit performance with LT Spice or HyperLynx.
• Design, debug, and test digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and drawings.
• Perform electrical tests with common lab equipment.
• Develop verification test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and Manufacturing.
• Support product certification activities.
