Job summary

Raytheon in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Principal Design Engineer - Test to lead and drive electrical design activities for factory test systems. You will oversee multidiscipline teams, develop test hardware, cabling, schematics, and production interfaces to support missile-related programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM, 8+ years of electrical design experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 8+ years of electrical design experience.
• Experience with schematic capture tools and reading schematics.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and manage multiple engineering tasks concurrently.
• Lead small teams of Electrical Hardware design engineers for cabling, test chassis, or test system solutions.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, adapters, cabling, drawings, schematics, and circuit designs.
