Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - Test for a 100% onsite role. You will design, develop, and integrate test solutions for Raytheon products, manage project scope, cost, and schedule, and resolve issues across multidiscipline teams.

The position requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years with an advanced degree, with the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance and a DoD Secret clearance. Onsite relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Eight years of prior relevant experience or five years with an advanced degree.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Proficiency with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
• Experience with test equipment: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters.
• Experience using schematic capture tools and software debugging.
• Knowledge of RTX projects or systems and hardware optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon products within TEE in multidiscipline teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, adapters, cabling, and schematics.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of projects and resolve test-related issues.
• Lead or contribute to teams to ensure successful test product development.
