Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Senior Electrical Component Engineer to join the ESP Department. You will perform parts engineering, components engineering, or applications tasks across proposal, SDD, LRIP, production and support.

The role is 100% onsite in Huntsville with DoD Secret clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship and a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Collaboration with design, ECAD, program management and suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with obsolescence management methodologies.
• Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process.
• Experience with BOM development and management for developmental and production programs.

Responsibilities

• Day to day interface with designers, ECAD and program management.
• Define SOW and customer requirements for components.
• Determine environmental/characteristic requirements for components.
• Provide guidance on technology insertion and part selection within constraints.
• Coordinate with suppliers to develop risk and verification delineation.
• Create component verification data packages.
