Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Leader to own development and delivery of electrical systems for vehicle lines. You will drive design, development, release, validation and launch with engineering hardware, software and external stakeholders.

You will ensure program visibility, balance cost and delivery, and lead cross-functional teams through the v-cycle. You will collaborate with operations on manufacturability, maintain metrics, and remove roadblocks to enable timely

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience on a program team or equivalent experience.
• BS+ in Engineering or similar technical degree required
• Integration and launch experience on a vehicle or highly complex electromechanical system
• Strong communication skills in technical and nontechnical domains
• Outstanding collaboration capabilities within and across organizations
• Product Release and automotive quality processes experience
• Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical, electrical, and software systems
• Passion for working on ambig

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electrical teams to build and drive master development and integration schedules across the vehicle program.
• Coordinate with electrical architecture, design, and software teams to advance electrical development through the v-cycle.
• Align vehicle line teams to identify critical paths and ensure synchronized deliveries.
• Lead and push integration through design reviews, solving integration issues for pre-series builds.
• Generate development metrics and report program status at weekly reviews and gateways.
• Proactively resolve issues and remove roadblocks.
• Coordinate status and critical paths between Vehicle Line, Product Development, and software leads.
• Collaborate with operations to drive design for manufacturability initiatives.
