Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company seeks an Electrical Systems & Components Engineer to provide technical engineering, design, economic and analytical support for long-range system plans and engineering requests. Performs engineering tasks requiring skills and experience gained through application of engineering methods and analysis.

Has increasing responsibility for technical decisions and interpretations. May be subject to shift work.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Five+ years of engineering-related experience.
• Masters may substitute for one year of experience.
• Engineering degree must be from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications and cost estimates.
• Ensures compliance with design, regulatory and maintenance requirements.
• Provides technical guidance to engineers and interfaces with customers and other departments.
• May oversee engineering programs and coordinate cross-organizational actions.
