Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks an Engineer - Design/Configuration Management Electrical/IC to support PVNGS. You will apply engineering analysis to ensure reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance of critical power system infrastructure for APS customers in Arizona.

Responsibilities include developing long-range system plans, evaluating technical proposals, and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to implement effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering bachelor’s degree required.
Five or more years in engineering-related positions.
Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
Professional Engineer license preferred.
Experience in utility and nuclear industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare plans, designs, analyses, specifications and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and teams.
Interface with customers and stakeholders to meet project goals.
Review and improve engineering programs and processes.
