Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Technical Specialist to design and support critical infrastructure for our Building Engineering Services Group. Responsibilities include engineering assignments under the supervision of a licensed engineer, producing CAD drawings, design calculations, specs, and contract documents, and coordinating with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with engineering focus required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for progression.
• Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer.
• Design tasks involving judgement in evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering techniques and procedures.
• Produce design drawings and construction documents using CAD and other design software.
• Prepare design and quantity calculations.
• Create specifications and contract documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines as necessary.
• Coordinate the work of one or more Technical Specialists when required.
