Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Technical Specialist to design and support critical infrastructure for our Building Engineering Services Group. Responsibilities include engineering assignments under the supervision of a licensed engineer, producing CAD drawings, design calculations, specs, and contract documents, and coordinating with other disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent with engineering focus required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred for progression.
  • Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.

  • Coordinate with other disciplines as necessary.
  • When required, coordinate the work of one or more Technical Specialists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported.
  • Aptitude and demonstrated hands‑on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported.
  • Proven ability to work in multi‑disciplinary environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location: Minnesota: $113,631 - $162,330.
