Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead plant electrical activities, troubleshoot systems, and support instrumentation across MCCs and PLC platforms.

You will provide hands‑on leadership to electricians, contractors, and operations personnel to ensure safe, reliable operation. The role requires a Journeyman Electrician license, 10+ years in industrial electrical work, and strong PLC/SCADA know‑how.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent; NFPA 70E familiarity.
• 10+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• Experience leading electricians, contractors or technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear communication with operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls work for capital and maintenance projects.
• Oversee installations, upgrades, and modifications to plant standards.
• Coordinate contractors and electrical work ensuring safety and quality.
• Troubleshoot 4160V, 480V, 240V and 120V equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain instrumentation and control systems support plant performance.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, I/O issues and support automation improvements.
• Maintain electrical documentation: work orders, PMs, drawings.
• Promote safety compliance with LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements.
• Support startups, shutdowns, and emergency response activities.
• Drive reliability improvements through preventive maintenance and RCA.
