Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Lead for a global technology client in Seattle. The role focuses on leading electrical and controls work for capital and maintenance projects, diagnosing PLC/HMI failures, and coordinating with contractors across high- and low-voltage equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman Electrician license, 10+ years of industrial electrical experience, and hands-on leadership of technical teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
• 10+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• Experience leading electricians, contractors, or technical teams.
• Experience with MCCs, VFDs, motor controls, PLCs, HMI/SCADA software, instrumentation and related electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls work for capital and maintenance projects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems across 4160V, 480V, 240V, and 120V equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, I/O, and communication issues; coordinate and oversee contractors and electrical work.
• Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and emergency response activities.
