Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support electrical power and control systems across our plant in South Carolina. You will assist in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of LV/MV motors, switchgear, PLCs, and instrumentation, ensuring reliable operation.

The role requires a HS diploma, 2–4 years of experience (or equivalent), safety-minded approach, and willingness to work rotating shifts, on-call, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of related experience or equivalent education.
• General knowledge of electrical theory and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of plant electrical systems and controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair LV/MV motors and motor controls; repair switchgear.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation; support PLC programming tasks.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with contractor personnel as needed.
• Participate in training and cross-training to broaden skills.
• Attend team meetings and communicate effectively.
• Work rotating shifts, on-call, and weekends as assigned.
