Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Electrical Superintendent II in its Power Delivery Group to coordinate, plan, and supervise electrical scopes across large-scale projects. You will lead Assistant Superintendents, contractors, and craft teams with integrity and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

The role demands extensive experience with high/medium voltage systems, substation construction, and safety leadership, including OSHA reporting and zero-injury practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience with high and medium voltage equipment and cable
• Minimum 13 years supervisory experience
• Proficiency with testing methods: Megger, Hi-pot, Doble, etc.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 100%

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical scope projects, including underground cabling, overhead lines, and substation construction
• Supervise installation of collection system and grid connection to distribution system
• Provide drawing reviews and feedback with engineering team to ensure quality materials and workmanship
• Coach and mentor field personnel and supervisory staff on safety and performance
