Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Electrical Superintendent II to lead coordination, planning, and supervision of electrical activities on construction sites. You will oversee assistants, contractors, and craft teams to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will partner with senior leaders to develop schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress, while maintaining Mortenson’s safety programs and quality plans across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience with high/medium voltage equipment and substation construction.
• Minimum 15 years supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE, NEMA, and OSHA codes and standards.
• Ability to understand Wind Turbine construction and related codes.
• Proficient with electrical drawings, underground distribution, SCADA systems, and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical scope projects on the construction site.
• Ensure high-quality electrical installation including underground cabling and substation work.
• Review drawings, submittals, and feedback with engineering teams.
