Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions seeks a Staff Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction on power projects, overseeing contractor work, commissioning, and field troubleshooting. This role acts as the technical authority for field operations, setting electrical work practices and safety standards across the operating fleet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; engineering degree preferred or related experience considered.
• 10–15+ years in electrical construction, installation, or commissioning of industrial or power generation systems.
• Experience leading electrical and mechanical contractors on active construction sites.
• Experience as electrical technical authority to field operations, including escalation support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with low and medium voltage cabling, terminations, cable tray, and grounding installation.
• Experience with engine-driven generation, interconnection, and startup support.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and related safety standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and redline construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction oversight of electrical and mechanical contractors, including work planning and quality control.
• Serve as electrical technical authority for Atlas Field Operations and guide field teams.
• Lead commissioning, functional testing, and startup activities for generation and power distribution equipment.
• Drive field troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical issues in construction and early operation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and EPC partners on installation sequencing and interconnections.
