Job summary

Actalent seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead large-scale mission critical and data center electrical work in Chicago. You will manage field teams, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets, coordinating with project managers, design partners, and commissioning teams to meet safety, quality, and milestone targets.

The role emphasizes leadership in high-tech environments, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to travel or relocate to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical construction for mission critical/data center projects.
• Experience leading field operations as Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or EC Manager.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and one-line diagrams accurately.
• Experience coordinating electrical with mechanical and commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities from installation to turnover and commissioning.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and field execution.
• Develop and monitor schedules and budgets for electrical scopes.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve issues and maintain milestones.
• Review drawings and specs for accuracy and constructability.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance on active sites.
• Support commissioning with documentation and testing coordination.
• Provide field-driven insights to improve constructability and client satisfaction.
