Job summary

Adams Electric Company is seeking a Safety Superintendent to lead safety programs across electrical construction projects. The role ensures compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E, drives a proactive safety culture, and mentors field safety staff.

You will serve as the senior safety authority on job sites, collaborating with project management and field operations to eliminate hazards and integrate safety into all work activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience in electrical or industrial construction, including supervisor or senior leadership.
• OSHA 500 or 510; CHST, CSP or equivalent certification preferred; First Aid/CPR, NFPA 70E training.
• Deep understanding of electrical construction hazards and controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Safety Coordinators and Safety Specialists on project sites.
• Serve as primary safety liaison between project management, field personnel and corporate safety leadership.
• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) for electrical projects.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; share lessons learned.
• Coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training across multiple sites.
