Job summary

Messer, a leading industrial gases company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical assets across ASU, CO2, H2 and He plants. You will lead electrical maintenance planning, CBM evaluation and engineering change processes while coordinating with operations and project teams.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in industrial power distribution, substations and protective relaying.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience in Operations Support, Reliability or Engineering/Installation of Industrial Process Plants.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical equipment and infrastructure in ASU, CO2, H2 and He plants.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical major maintenance scope, budgets, contractor selection and execution strategy.
• Evaluate CBM tools, review reliability data, and drive corrective actions with field teams.
• Approve changes using EMOC process and help prepare engineering docs for modifications.
• Create/approve electrical PMs, work instructions and procedures; ensure quality of PM execution at plants.
• Support field operations during major maintenance, upgrades, and plant start-up; perform full loop checks and testing.
• Provide electrical scope and execution support to Project Execution for large capital projects.
• Supervise electrical contractors to ensure proper scope and quality.
