Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects. The role leads a team of 50+ personnel, ensuring safe installation, alterations, and repairs of electrical systems, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The position requires completion of an electrical apprenticeship and 4+ years of field supervision/management experience, with strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate, GED, or equivalent studies/experience.
• Experience: Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program. Four or more years of field supervision/management experience.
• Specialized skills: interpersonal relationships, communication, organization, and technology/computer proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Project Supervision: supervise multiple projects and field personnel.
• Project Planning: lay out project work and schedule materials/tools/equipment.
• On-Site Management: manage projects, trade contractors, and field personnel to meet schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Document Review: review documents, plans, specs, direct activities, resolve issues, coordinate installations, close-outs.
• Customer Relations: develop and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Performance Evaluations: conduct annual performance evaluations as directed.
• Internal Communication: collaborate with HR, Estimating, Accounting, Finance, and other staff.
• External Communication: interact with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors.
