Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead electrical projects in the commercial and industrial sectors. You will supervise a 25+ member team, ensure safe installations, and drive on-time, within-budget project delivery.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors, maintain compliance with SOPs and quality standards, and report to senior management. Requires an electrical apprenticeship and 4+ years of supervision experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Four+ years of field supervision/management experience.
• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program as required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to manage teams of electricians and complete projects on time, within budget, and safely.
• Lead crews including apprentices, journeypersons, crew leaders, lead persons, and field supervisors; delegate tasks effectively.
• Lay out work and coordinate scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment to meet scope, budget and schedule.
• Supervise on-site construction, trade contractors, and field personnel to stay within parameters.
• Ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction; review documents for compliance; resolve construction issues; close-outs.
• Adhere to SOPs, project costs, time constraints, and quality standards.
• Report to General Superintendent, Project Manager, or Project Executive; collaborate with Estimating, Accounting, HR, and other services.
• Engage with owners, owner reps, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors and stakeholders.
