Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. seeks a General Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects, ensuring safe, compliant installation and timely completion on site.

You will lead 50+ field personnel, coordinate with the Operations Manager and external stakeholders, review plans, manage budgets, and drive customer satisfaction through effective supervision and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completed an approved electrical apprenticeship program; 4+ years supervision/management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects and supervise field staff on site.
• Plan work and schedule materials, tools and equipment to meet scope and budget.
• Manage on-site activities to meet schedule, quality and safety standards.
• Review project documents and coordinate field installations with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations of assigned personnel.
• Coordinate internal and external communication with HR, estimating, accounting, and others.
