Job summary

Hunt Electric is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of complex electrical construction projects nationwide. You will manage project finances, coordinate internal teams and external clients, and ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience in the electrical industry, strong leadership, and excellent communication, with a willingness to travel and mentor others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years of experience as a project manager in the electrical industry.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools in the electrical industry.
• Knowledge of business and management principles for planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination.
• Ability to set goals, prioritize, organize and accomplish work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand contract documents scope and electrical work.
• Willingness and ability to train subordinates and travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project financials.
• Monitor billings, projections, and cash flow for accuracy.
• Assist with change orders and communicate cost/schedule impacts to client.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external teams.
• Direct and supervise foremen and crews to comply with contracts and policies.
• Address office/field concerns to maintain morale and customer expectations.
• Manage projects to balance quality workmanship, industry image, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain files, schedules, reports, and billing for contracts.
• Direct project planning through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
• Assist with Cost Codes/WBS/SOVs/Phases, estimating, and comparisons.
• Identify concerns and work with leadership to improve project health.
• Attend monthly meetings to review financial status with stakeholders.
