Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Electrical Superintendent to join our team. The role oversees projects from award to final construction and requires a strong focus on customer service and electrical construction experience.

You will manage crews, plan layouts, and ensure compliance with the National Electric Code. Responsibilities include safety planning, change coordination with PM, material planning, daily progress docs, and trade coordination.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho Journeyman license.
• Seven plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
• Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
• Have moderate to high-level computer skills including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Have safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 30 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from award to final construction, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals.
• Supervise crews (20+ personnel) and provide training, feedback, and leadership.
• Plan and layout projects with material take-offs and tool requirements per schedule.
• Establish site safety plans and mitigate risks to personnel and equipment.
• Review and implement installation per contract drawings and specs.
• Coordinate change requests and schedule effects with PM.
• Plan material, equipment, and labor needs for timely site delivery.
• Track daily progress and document activities and obstacles in writing.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate trades with PM and purchasing.
• Coordinate prefab tasks and maintain strong internal/external communication.
