Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects nationwide, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, billings and change orders. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure contract compliance, safety, and quality across Commercial, Health Care, Data Center, and Industrial deployments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of experience working as a project manager in the electrical industry.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical industry.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources.
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish the work.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand the scope of the contract documents and the scope of the electrical work to be performed.
• Willingness and ability to train and educate assigned subordinates.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the project financials.
• Monitor project billings, projections, and cash flow to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with development of proposed change orders and communicate cost and schedule impact to the client.
• Direct and supervise foremen and crews to comply with contracts.
• Address office and field concerns to maintain morale and customer expectations.
• Prepare, process, and maintain files, schedules, reports, and billing.
• Direct planning of the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
• Attend monthly meetings to review project financial standing.
