VAA is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to drive design for commercial and industrial facilities in a hybrid work setting. You will design electrical power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems, while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, code-compliant projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Propel the success of the company through your technical expertise and professional conduct.
• Contribute to the success of projects by leading people and executing safe and constructable technical design scopes.
• Deliver high-quality engineering services rooted in a depth of knowledge of engineering fundamentals, design codes and industry standards.
• Propel team success by mentoring and training engineers and technical staff.
• Maintain project scope, schedules and budgets and coordinate with disciplines for successful delivery.
• Identify design options early to inform sound project decisions and communicate concepts clearly.
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary technical client contact on projects.
• Perform technical reviews of design deliverables for quality and coordination; conduct site visits (up to 10% travel).
• Prepare, review, and execute proposals and participate in marketing to develop targeted clients.
