Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies in Columbus, OH, with offices in eleven markets, seeks an Electrical Project Superintendent - Multi-Family to oversee day-to-day field activities, coordinate with partners, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of residential projects.

You will supervise installation crews, read plans, manage materials, and uphold NEC standards while guiding junior staff and coordinating with general contractors and inspectors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years installation experience in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.
• Thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing installation practices, industry standards, and applicable code requirements.
• Thorough understanding of residential and commercial new construction processes, including sequencing and timing of inspections and quality control procedures.
• Ability to supervise, coordinate, train, mentor, and develop field personnel, installation crews, subcontractors, and punch mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Read plans, specs, and construction documents to determine scope, materials, equipment locations, and installation requirements.
• Supervise and provide directions to installation crews, field employees, punch mechanics, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the competent person on site for safety, production, leadership, and client contact.
• Identify tools, materials, and equipment needed for safe and efficient work.
• Identify and mitigate safety risks per company policies.
• Complete all required operational, production, and safety documentation (JHAs, inspections, progress reports, as-builts).
• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades to meet schedules, specs, and codes.
• Prioritize work activities to support production schedules and deadlines.
• Inspect work for quality and code compliance; recommend corrective actions.
• Walk job sites daily to monitor progress and address deficiencies.
