Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Substation Power Systems to lead the power distribution design for complex projects. You will work with clients and partners to deliver innovative, reliable energy solutions across healthcare, science, and government sectors.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing MV or HV power distribution, and/or generation, and/or transmission systems.
BSEE from an ABET-accredited program is required.
Professional engineering registration is required; licensure in multiple states may be needed.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners; lead the overall power systems design for assigned projects.
Develop innovative design solutions for substation, protection, SCADA, DER, BESS, and related power systems areas; coordinate with utilities as needed.
