Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Senior Electrical Project Engineer for Substation Power Systems. You will lead the power systems design process, build client relationships, and deliver innovative solutions for MV/HV distribution, protection, SCADA, and DER integration.

With 10+ years of experience, you will mentor teammates, coordinate with utilities, and contribute to energy‑efficient, high‑impact projects across sectors. AEI offers a collaborative environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BSEE from ABET accredited program required.
• Professional engineering registration or licensure eligibility required.
• 10+ years of MV/HV power distribution, generation, or transmission experience.
• Experience with power engineering design programs and modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead power systems design process on assigned projects.
• Build and maintain client and project partner relationships.
• Apply expertise in substation design, utility coordination, relaying, protection, and SCADA design.
• Develop innovative design solutions for diverse markets (power, healthcare, education, government).
