Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead power systems design for substations, utility coordination, and protection schemes. The role involves mentoring staff, coordinating with clients and partners, and delivering innovative substation solutions across critical markets.

You will oversee medium/high voltage designs, SCADA integration, and energy storage systems while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BSEE from an ABET accredited program is required.
• Professional engineering licensure and ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
• 10+ years of MV/HV power distribution, generation or transmission design experience.
• Proficiency in power engineering design programs and SCCAF.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead power systems design on assigned projects and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain client and project partner relationships throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Utility Companies for interconnect and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and delegate tasks effectively.
• Develop innovative design solutions for diverse markets.
