Job summary

Goodall Brazier is seeking an experienced Project Buyer to join its procurement team in Northern California and Nevada, delivering large electrical projects and supporting a strong project pipeline.

You will source and purchase critical electrical equipment, manage supplier relationships, and help ensure successful project execution from procurement through delivery. The role requires deep knowledge of electrical equipment and experience with capital projects.

Qualifications

• Experience purchasing electrical equipment and materials.
• Experience supporting complex construction or capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and materials.
• Experience working with electrical contractors, manufacturers, and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for major electrical projects.
• Source and purchase critical electrical equipment and materials.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and vendor performance.
• Develop procurement strategies for long lead‑time equipment.
• Monitor manufacturing and delivery schedules to support project timelines.
• Partner with project management and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and proactively resolve procurement challenges.
