Job summary

Goodall Brazier in the Bay Area is seeking a Project Engineer to join its growing electrical construction team. You will support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule, under budget, and to high safety standards.

The role offers exposure to commercial, healthcare, life sciences, technology, and mission-critical sectors, with strong career progression and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1-5 years of experience within construction, MEP, electrical contracting, or a related environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with both field and office teams.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software is advantageous.
• A proactive mindset and genuine desire to develop a long-term career within electrical construction.

Responsibilities

• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinating material procurement, equipment deliveries, and vendor relationships.
• Supporting project scheduling, forecasting, and cost tracking activities.
• Attending client and project meetings while maintaining accurate records and reporting.
• Assisting with contract administration and compliance requirements.
• Collaborating with field operations to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Supporting successful project closeout and handover processes.
