Job summary
Aspire Talent Solutions seeks an Electrical Power Design Engineer in Long Beach, CA to support a national engineering firm’s electrical power offerings. The role focuses on developing PE-stamped load studies, BOMS, and specifications for complex electrical construction packages.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience, strong AutoCAD and power system modeling skills (ETAP/SKM/EasyPower), NEC/IEEE-3000 familiarity, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- FE Exam completion preferred or in progress.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power design and construction packages.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of electrical power load studies.
- Lead the development of electrical power construction packages stamped by a PE.
- Develop electrical power specifications for construction packages.
- CreateBills of Materials and coordinate with vendors for pricing.
- Perform field verification of Electrical and E&I infrastructure.
- Execute factory acceptance testing on electrical power equipment.
- Support start-up and commissioning activities.
- Assist PMs with cost estimates and proposals.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
