Unknown is seeking an Electrical Power Design Engineer in Long Beach, CA to lead electrical load studies and develop construction packages stamped by a Professional Engineer. The role requires extensive NEC, IEEE, and API knowledge, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.

Responsibilities include field verification, start-up and commissioning support, and collaboration with project managers for cost estimates and proposals. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years in electrical construction and specification packages.
Packages must be stamped by a PE and submitted for plan check.
Experience with load studies and single line diagrams.

Responsibilities

Lead development of electrical power load studies.
Lead development of electrical power construction packages for PE stamping.
Lead development of electrical power specifications for packages.
Coordinate BOMs and vendor pricing.
Perform field verification of electrical and E&I infrastructure.
