Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking an Electrical Power Design Engineer in Long Beach, CA to support our growing electrical power offering.

Lead development of load studies and comprehensive construction packages suitable for Professional Engineer stamping and authority plan checks. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, FE exam completion, and strong AutoCAD and NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• FE Exam completed or in process preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in electrical power design and package development for PE stamping.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical power load studies.
• Lead development of electrical power construction packages for PE stamping and plan checks.
• Coordinate with vendors on BOM and pricing; support start-up and commissioning as needed.
• Travel up to ~25% for project opportunities and site verifications.
